i was wondering if the extended chm format doc is still active, it is 
very outdated... i am interested in helping with that

I would not call a March 16 version very outdated.

When he wrote, the on-line version was from January 2005. The March version 
is already an updated version, using the cron job Derick set.
But now the problem is solved :)
