Sean is right, and otherwise there is nothing to do to initialise the CVS module, as far as I know, an empty module would do it quite well, even without the .cvsignore file. All files that are going to be in the module will be created by translators, with Catalan content in them. Let me repeat that this might be the right time to document the process of how a new translation is created. Goba
