This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better. Although the page does say that the first parameter, class, can only be string/object as of 5.1.0 (objects only in 5.0.x) The second parameter on the other hand, is stated as "always there", this is apparently not the case, it's snapshot-only (5.1.0). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=33953&edit=1
