Did you unblock the file before opening it? quote from http://php.net/download-docs.php: "Note to Windows users: If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer under Windows XP SP2 or later and you are going to download the documentation in CHM format, you should "unblock" the file after downloading it, by right-clicking on it and selecting the properties menu item. Then click on the 'Unblock' button. Failing to do this may lead to errors in the visualization of the file, due to a Microsoft bug." Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-12-30 17:55:21] jay at kaoticstudios dot com Description: ------------ Under Windows x64 it seems every page loaded in the chm reports an error. This problem is reproducable using both the regular CHM version and the extended version. The error reported lists like this: "An error has occurred in the script in this page. Line: 2 Char: 1 Error: Syntax Error Code: 0 URL: mk:@MSITStore:C:\php_manual_chm\php_manual_en.chm::/function.apache-get-modules.html Do You wish to continue runnign scripts on this page?" Clicking yes still shows the page correctly. But the popup warning is very annoying. I have checked the Internet Options and it seems there is no way to turn this warning off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=35851&edit=1
