Description: ------------ This is a feature request: to organize the Function Reference section of the index page into categories. This actually refers to php-doc version 5.0.3 copyright date 2005-01-13, which is the version in my distro. With 137 categories in alphabetical order, it's very hard to even comprehend what's available, or to find something if you don't already know what it's called. I just spent an hour hand-editing the index page into an order that seems semi-sane to me: http://papyrus.math.ucla.edu/php-doc/index-jimc.html I don't know how this could be made to happen automatically with docbook, but don't the developers think that this page is a lot more useable than the original one? -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=39083&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39083&r=mysqlcfg
