Ah that's a different story. I was talking against images to display script output and such things that were used in the zend api manual. In image manipulation extensions I think it makes sense to use images. The place you suggest also sounds good for me, but it will need several tweaks to the build process and related scripts (revcheck,..).

Hi Nuno,

I personnaly would like to use a few images in ref.image.

For example, I'd like to provide 7 (small) pictures to explain how the filtered image with image_filter() will look like. Would that be okay? What would stop us from using images anyway? Bandwidth?

Hannes is tweaking the build process to make images work when placed in reference/xxxx/images/ (or whatever), I think he will provide a patch in a few days.

He even mentionned something like upgrading the whole docbook framework, but that's another thread.

Although it is possible, we don't usually allow except in special cases (the zend api stuff has a few).
So you need to be more explicit on what's the purpose of the images.

Is this possible at this time?

If so, how so?

What restrictions are there on dimensions and filesize?

Where should they be stored?

Kind regards
Kevin
