Description: ------------ This problem is related to defect 41922 and applies to both PHP5 and PHP6. A decision has been made not to fix 41922 because of possible impact on existing applications. I suggest that the following text is added to the documentation for ini_get(). Ini_get() will return a null string to indicate either (a) that the call to ini_get() has failed, or (b) that the value of the ini setting is a null string.
