This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better. "Character data handler is called for every piece of a text in the XML document. It can be called multiple times inside each fragment (e.g. for non-ASCII strings)." I am left guessing. Maybe I can look at the examples and run some tests, but, come on, guys, any decent event specification explains when or what triggers the event. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=37543&edit=1
