[PHP-DOC] PHP Documentation copyrights

Hello, We would like to include php documentation pages in an index of frequently used developer tools.  While we can certainly link to the pages, in some cases, we would like to extract some summary text from key pages.  Is such use permitted under php copyrights?  Would formal permission be required?  If so, who do we apply to? --Matt
