Well, I don't actually know the details about where and how this file is
used. I use it to generate locally the status of the translation I am
working on.
I noticed that the lines 91 to 99 perform some checks and set the value of
$DOCDIR depending on the results, but the line 100 [re]sets this variable
thus making the above checks useless.
That's why I proposed to remove the checks if $DOCDIR must have the value
"./" all the time.
