Translating the PHP manual alone is more then a "weekend job"... If you can gather a group of say 3-10 people to help you out then I'm sure someone here can give you commit karma - but before that we need to see interest (in the form of patches). You can do that already, without having "account".. Checkout http://doc.php.net/php/dochowto/ and http://wiki.php.net/doc You don't need any unix-like-skillz.
