Thanks for the patch. I've committed a slight variation on what you suggested as a normal paragraph in the function description, rather than as a note within the description, which seems to fit more visually within the page. I've also used this and the description of the options that have been added over the various versions of ibm_db2 section to create a change log on the db2_pconnect() function page.
