Hi.
The 960px fixed width layout causes the Installation and Configuration
entry on the mega menu to be below Getting Started, Language
Reference, Security, Features and Function Reference.
So much so, it may well be beneath the fold for any user on a display
with a shorter than my 1080. Installation and Configuration really
needs to be up front and personal.
The layout used to have it on the right hand side. Still not ideal,
but at least it was onscreen.
Changing the #mega-drop-down div.children-1 {width: 960px;} to 1010px
(using 1px increments to see when things would pop-up) allows the mega
menu to show all on screen in a 1010x652. So, a 1024x768 display looks
fine.
At 960px, the mega menu is 963px tall and on a 1024x768 display, you
can only see the Installation and Configuration option if you go 100%
full screen with no systray and no browser chrome.
I know the received wisdom is fixed 960px layout, but the gurus here
must be able to do some magic to make things a little more fluid.
