Hello,

I'm a French IT engineer since 30 years.

I used to work within the Digital Translation Team (LOLA Project), so I consider I have some experience in translation. I am working these days on a book on php, a "php User Guide", actually (seems to be *really* missing) and I noticed that the French version of the php Language Ref Man http://fr.php.net/manual/en/langref.php is sometimes strange.

As an example, "/double guillemets/" just does not exist. In English, we have "(simple) /quote/" and "/double quote/", with their exact translation : "/apostrophe/" and "/guillemet/". In the same way, the French translation for "/backticks/" is "/accent grave/" and not "/guillemet oblique/" which just does not exist. (see http://www.php.net/manual/fr/language.operators.execution.php)

So, I volunteer to join the French php documentation team to help, and I filled in the GIT Form for that purpose.

FYI.
Thanks and regards,

Didier
