This may be an unusual response to an account request but I would not
advise giving an account to Stan at this point in time, for the
following reasons.

1. His main reasons for wanting an account is because he "lost"
changes made in the OE as an anonymous user, and because having an
account means his name will be "attached" to his contributions.
2. He has shown a sharp lack of regard for the processes involved and
refuses to follow instructions unless pressed.
3. He has, thus far, no patches to show any basic level of competence
in documentation writing.
4. He appears to back down from even the smallest obstacle (filing in
the account request form took many attempts over time), which does not
bode well for working with SVN/Git (which he has already shown a lack
of desire to set up to provide patches) or learning the ins and outs
of authoring the documentation.

I must say, at this stage, that Stan does show a desire to improve the
documentation and has mentioned several places where he would like to
improve things. However, he seems overly focussed on getting an
account rather than actually getting some patches committed; and has
actively refused to submit patches.

Oh, and he didn't mention liking kittens in the account request.

My suggestion would be to keep the account request on hold until such
a time as we are more confident in his ability and willingness to
contribute in a positive manner within the project.
