Hi all,
The coordination team has been discussing the elections and the current
nominations. The current coordinators have all expressed an interest in
remaining part of the coordination team. We are also excited about the
nominations that have been received. Instead of holding elections, we
propose the following:
* The terms of all coordinators be for 6 months - from 1 April 2008
* All existing coordinators remain
* Pascal and Sigurd become coordinators
* 2 new positions be added - docs and QA
* In 4 months time we review the current structure
* The positions people hold is to be agreed by the new coordination team
- as has always the practice
We have some reservations about such a large team, but also don't want
to demotivate energetic people.
If there are no objections to this proposal by 1200UTC Friday 28 March
2008 it will be considered the final.
