Follow-up Comment #9, bug #8006 (project phpgroupware):
I think you will find this is now fixed. It is related to lex fscking up the
upgrade script, which meant that the update scripts where being run from
14.50x every time you try to update.
I committed a fix to stable cvs some time ago to fix it.
