Follow-up Comment #1, bug #16663 (project phpgroupware):
On windows platform, I had this bug too...
My workaround is this: edit file /email/inc/class.boattach_file.inc.php
Find the line reading move_uploaded_file... (only 1 present) and alter the
first argument in $_FILES['uploadedfile']['tmp_name']
This should do it.
