I appreaciate your honesty. I know the frustration of not having enough contributors and being pulled between wanting a successful project and wanting a successful family. I also know the problem of needing people and not money. That's why I mentioned the fact that I gave a server to one of my admins. Instead of paying cash for the advertisment, the company gave me the server. Now I have someone contributing a lot of time. Cash is always hard to get, products are easier. That would definitely help you get "more (paid?) resources" (as you say in the blog). Send me an email if you want some more details.
I know the frustration and annoyance of people telling me to "fix it". However, I am not a user of phpGW. I am outsider giving you an honest opinion of what you should do. Writing doc is important, but contributing it is so hard that people do not want to do it. You are choosing not to enable people to contribute. That is a behavior which is fatal. Take a deep breath. Decide which aspects of phpGW must be improved/fixed first and then do them as soon as you can. Go Hawks! -- I'm European. Guns scare me, boobs do not.
