Congratulations on a succesful move to 7.8. The git repositories have already been adjusted to track the new 7.8 tree.
I'm in the process of setting up a tracking git on
git clone git://pike-git.lysator.liu.se/pike
as soon as Peter starts the ssh daemon there :-).
It will be a copy of git://git.cuci.nl/pike excluding my personal
branches (of course).
