I made some incompatible changes in the so-called typed mode for Mysql, both in 7.8 and 7.9. It only concerns the somewhat less used BIT and DECIMAL types, and it's not a compat problem if one only considers the last official 7.8 release, but otoh it's a change from what's been in git the last 1½ years. (I also updated CHANGES while I were at it.)
