it's probably just because nettle is listed as a dependency in the debian files which will make pbuilder install it and pike build will try that then. it may be enough to just remove the nettle dependency from debian/control to get it to pick bundle. this of course only works as long as the official tat ball is used, as the one in a debian package will have the bundle removed. greetings, martin.
