new 7.8 stable feedback?

Hello all,

It's been a little over a week since I posted a new alpha 
version, 7.8.852. Does anyone have any further feedback that needs to be 
addressed before I announce it as a beta version on the primary list?

If I don't hear anything in the next day or so, I'll move it to the beta 
folder and make an announcement.
