Arthur,
        I overthought the docs and Janos’s posts.  References to “piler host” 
made me think there had to be a mail server somewhere and not that piler was 
capable of handling incoming mail on it’s own.  It just didn’t click for me.  
That’s why I created the virtual host…  to serve as the “piler host.”  I saw 
Piler’s role as that of a client and not a server, so I expected Piler to reach 
out and grab the mail, when it was acting as a server and expecting something 
to send it the mail.  My bad.  All fixed and working fine now :)
