My name is Hiroshi Araki. I'm Japanese. 'Hiroshi' is one of the most popular
names of male in Japan.
I'd like to make 'auto hotsync (or one button hotsync)' available. That is;
1. connect the Cradle in serial port.
2. Set the Workpad on the cradle.
3. Push the hotsync button of the cradle.
4. Some program starts in my FreeBSD 2.2.8 box to enable hotsync, i.e. to
backup, install applications, get mail, and so on.
Can I start some programs only pushing the hotsync button of the cradle (or
tapping the hotsync program on the screen of the workpad)?
Do you know some programs to eneble this? Can I use getty or pilot-link for
that? Or do I have to get some source from ftp site and comiple it?
Please tell me.
My Machines:
IBM Workpad with 3com Palm 2MB Upgrade kit.
PC with 486/66 MHZ CPU with FreeBSD 2.2.8 Release
(Cradle is connected to a serial port.)
