There is. The problem is that the X-terminal presents a serial port
through a network port. The Palm will want to do a serial hoysync and the
desktop will want to do a network hostync, and never the twain shall meet
:-(
As far as I know the two protocols are different enough that you can't
just connect one to the other and expect it to work. I could be wrong
though...
On a related note, does anyone know how to programmatically launch a
Network HotSync (preferably on a PIIIx or other OS3.1 device)? I want to
enhance LinkDirect so it will automatically bring up the network and start
a network sync - which means I can make it the default hotsync program.
