I'm thinking that everyone here knows (and cares) much more about the
details of MH than I do... =)
Personally, all I cared about was an easy way to offload messages from
Gnus to my Visor for later reading. (In fact, that's how I'm replying
to this now, and I'm finding a few disconcerting misfeatures in the
PalmOS mail app itself...) Obviously, though, implementing true
MH-type handling is important.

I agree, and since I'm getting quite a few ideas for hacks I'd like to
add to pilot-mail, I'd like to be cooperating with everyone else here,
as you have all been involved in this far longer and have a much
better idea of what is needed.
Unfortunately, I think pilot-mailsync requires some serious work before
it's quite ready for prime time. Moving to a more abstract handling
of mailboxes is definitely the right move, but right now it's less
functional than the stuff in pilot-mail, and I also really like
pilot-mail's command-line configurability. Anyway, I second the
request for a CVS repository.
BTW, regarding MH, might it not make more sense to work on adding the
appropriate functionality to the c-client library, rather than
kludging it into the app?
