Thanks for that - I downloaded the latest snapshot, built it, and I now seem 
to be working.

HOWEVER - I appear to be getting a dump on the console of all the data being 
received.  I notice elsewhere in this list that you suggest a patch for 
visor.c which stops debug being set, but I manually scanned visor.c in my 
version (linux 2.4.12) and can't find those debug statements - I assume this 
has been tidied up in a later release - so what is all this debug stuff - 
coldsync?  - can I get rid of it?
