HI!
I just got my Palm m505 and tried to sync it with my Linux (2.4.9-12) machine. Nothing happened! I can see that the palm is known to my computer with usbview (see below) and in /var/log/messages (see below). When I try to read (using tail -f) from the devices (ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1) when pressing the HotSync-button on the Palm cradle, I get nothing. Nothing happends when using "./pilot-xfer -l" I have tried with the following sources for pilot-link - Micro-snapshot / pilot-link_2001-12-29_14h.10m.37s - CVS from 2001-12-29 same result on both of them...... I figure I have forgot or misunderstood something. Has anybody got a clue? On www.pilot-link.org it says that 80% of m50x/USB is complete. Are those 80% in the cvs tree?
