Hey all — I wanted to let everyone know we have made plans for an online sprint this upcoming weekend. We normally battle timezones, but fortunately James is in the states this weekend :-) The rough times I'd like to set are 9 or 10 AM MST (6 PM UTC-1) until whenever. The UTC bound folks can certainly start earlier as Jannis will be available for direction. I plan on bootstrapping the sprint this week by doing some more fixes to the test suite and on Friday night landing 1.2 ready for testing.
This weekend's sprint will be focus primarily on integrating Django 1.2 in our upcoming 0.9 release. We will be using the latest SVN revision for our testing. We want to help improve Django, but at the same time bring Pinax into all the wonder things Django has added since 1.0. We need as many people testing and reporting bugs. James will be working on a new pinaxproject.com which people interested can help out with. We will be sprinting on Freenode in the channel #pinax-dev.
