Hi, you described the reason why I was asking how to handle this situtation - how do YOU handle this?
As long as there is no fix in the upstream geocoders_old.py I [you, we, everybody, who wants to use the location feature] must patch in each and every vitualenv the original geocoders_old.py that is coming from pip install procedure. This is, of course, not such a dramatic code change, however... I tend to forget these kind of things so before I invent my own process for automating this I want to ask, what would be the *right* way of doing this? Maybe there is some room for a pinax-admin postinstall script that would be a good place for applying local patches? Or does exist anything like pip-local-postinstall??? I am not yet 100% familiar with python setup and distribution infrastructure... so if there is any obvious procedure for doing what I want please excuse me for not seeing it :) Thanks for your attention one more time!
