I sandwiched the photo between glass leaving a clear boarder. The trick
part is the frame. it is zinc soldered at the edges. Presently my wife
helps me assemble them because she can see stray finger prints. Zinc has a
higher melting point than solder. In theory I should be able to do the hole
deal flying blind. Solder and all,  and still come up with a slick product.
That's why I came up with the idea. AS long as I stick to metals that have
a higher melting point than the solder I can probe around with the solder
gun without maring the frame.
