My use of filters and pinhole has been pretty limited, but the one thing 
that I had the most trouble with was keeping the filter clean. Being 
that the pinhole has such a wide depth of field every piece of dust on 
the filter would show up on the negative. One thing that suggestion that 
I found useful was to hand hold the filter over the pinhole and keep it 
moving during the length of the exposer.
