I you want clouds and use paper negatives the answer is simple Use a multigrade paper and place a 0 multigrade filter or other colour equivalent behind the pinhole. This will reduce contrast to the point where you get skies and a more continual tonal range.
The only drawback is that the exposure time is doubled. The results are excellent Try it Alexis
