I use an Epson 760 for my quadtone printing with MIS quadtone ink and a
continuous ink system from nomorecarts.com. The Epson 760 is the 8 1/2 x 11
version of the 1160. They are being discontinued so can be found quite
cheaply, as can the 1160. Note that the 760 and 1160 do not use the new
"chip" cartridge, so a wide choice of 3rd party inks are available. The Cone
piezography system also works with the 760, but as Gregg says is pricey. If
you have questions, you can contact me offlist, since this isn't really
pinhole! It's a great system.

Thanks. Can you suggest a printer which uses the quadtone inks? I've
looked
at Cone's website and looked at the info on his inks.
I've been following the Epson inkjet list for a couple of years and the
1160 model seems to be most highly recommended for image quality, and works
with Cone's Piezography stuff. New printers are coming out soon (as
always).
