Greg, You really overpaid. But, alas, it's a good camera once you fix the lens.
If you're handy with mechanical things it's fairly easy. You have to remove the screws holding the bellows to the lens piece. Then remove the lens. I drilled mine which shattered it nicely. Then, I believe there is a blade, it's been a while since I did this, behind the actual shutter that becomes your shutter when you remove the real shutter blades. It will be obvious when you work the shutter a few times while it's apart and watch. Tape the pinhole where the shutter is and it all goes back together and looks the same as before. Good luck.
