I did not change anything to the trimming handles yet. One of my ideas is to show handles if the clip is wide enough only, at the current zoom level. The current code forces a minimum drawing width based on the size of both handles. Another idea about clip crossfading : In the current state, a small strip is shown above the overlapping part of both clips. Replace it with a rectangle that takes the same space as the clips on the transition part. Normal clip : (_A_) Two clips fading together on the same track : (_A_|_B_|_A_) A : standard clip color as defined in user preferences. B : overlapping part, specific color (brighter or neutral). Transition curves on top of it. I also started implementing custom cursors. One is shown when hovering any curve. It is a smaller arrow with the operation symbol on the corner (like cursors used in GIMP). The actual graphic is black-and-white, maybe it would be good to redraw it using the DMZ style.
