Hi Eduardo,

I have made this screencast just for you:
http://jeff.ecchi.ca/public/pitivi%20git%20in%20fedora.ogv

(I cut out some boring parts such as waiting for packages to download,
and added some music for added dramatic effect.
Richard, if you're reading this, this is proof that when I don't need to
record my voice, I *can* edit screencasts in minutes with pitivi :P)

Basically, what I did in this screencast on Fedora 14 was:

yum install git gcc
yum-builddep pitivi
git clone the pitivi thingy
cd pitivi
./autogen.sh && ./configure && make
bin/pitivi

I have now added the yum-builddep trick to the pitivi website's download
section.

Regarding your first error (the pygobject_register_sinkfunc deprecation
warning), don't worry about it. The second error, however:
> GLib-GIO:ERROR:gdbusconnection.c:2270:initable_init: assertion failed:

...Makes me think that something was wrong with glib or dbus. Make sure
to apply all software updates and restart your system and try the steps
above.
