Hard question to answer, but nobody answered I'll give it a shot. I can't really speak for the devs that will make the decisions of which candidates are accepted, but I'll say that it depends on many factors: - the quality of your gsoc application; do come around on IRC to discuss your ideas and see what needs clarification etc! - the quality of the other students' applications - the number of available slots I mean, it can help if you've been involved with pitivi before in the sense that it can demonstrate persistence and familiarity with the code, but it's not a strict requirement--actually, if you can demonstrate that you know the task that is ahead of you and that your goal is to join the project in the long term, that can be a compelling argument! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Create and publish websites with WebMatrix Use the most popular FREE web apps or write code yourself; WebMatrix provides all the features you need to develop and publish your website. http://p.sf.net/sfu/ms-webmatrix-sf _______________________________________________ Pitivi-pitivi mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/pitivi-pitivi
