New Message on Pituitary Chat Question on Dostinex and new endo Reply   Reply to Sender   Recommend Message 5 in Discussion From: Hollymcd1 I started taking Dostinex in October and only had a headache the night I took it for about 2 weeks.  I am still on it but have been told that they can not find my tumor.  I am not sure if I think it is gone, because I have had vertigo/dizziness since Janurary.  I have heard that Dostinex can make you have vertigo the beginning, but I did not have it until 2 1/2 months later.  My Internest said that he thinks that Dostinex can cause vertigo on and off at the beginning, but that it should go away, I have felt a little better.  Also when I had my prolactin checked two weeks ago, it was at 40, in November it was 20.  Is that normal when you tumor is suppose to be gone? I have only had two periods that last a little over a day.  I also have had a cyst on my thyroid, I had it aspirated and checked 6 weeks ago and it is back.  I am not sure what is causing this or what I can do..  Thanks for any help..  View other groups in this category.
