I hope you are seeing a pituitary specialist. There is a huge bank of knowledge that is not available to patients who do not go to a pituitary center. This often means travel, but it is worth it. The difference in care between an endocrinolgist who usually deals with other issues and an endocrinolgist whose focus is pituitary patients, is the difference between night and day.
