----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: huggi111 Message 1 in Discussion Is anyone being treated for apathy instead of depression? I think I'm going to talk to my doc about depression (people have told me that I show signs). I'm not too big on the idea of taking more meds (especially any drugs for depression - I'm stubborn and I feel I should be able to handle it myself). Well, I did my research, and I found this article: http://neuro.psychiatryonline.org/cgi/content/full/17/2/159 Basically, instead of depression meds, this study showed that pit tumor patients reacted better to treatment for fatigue and apathy (they give the drugs that treat ADD). Just was hoping for some thoughts/experiences on this? ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
