----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: MinnieChat Message 4 in Discussion Well, I'll just cross my fingers and toes too and hope that this effort will help. From what I've read and talked with other patients about, I understand that they will have to radiate the general area when no tumor is seen. From what I've read with radiation outcomes in acromegaly, the radiation helps, but even then, it doesn't achieve full control of the igf-1. If there are hidden cells in the bony part of the sella tursica, radiation might really help, and may be discussed again, if this next surgery doesn't help. Keep us posed Neda, and I hope for you this year that you and Bill gain some normalcy. Take care, Minnie ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
