Sorry, just a knee-jerk response, but I hate when doctors belittle issues. My husband went to the doctor's office not too long ago, and our normal doctor wasn't in that day, so he had to see his associate. He told her that he had been experiencing a lot of stress. She said, "You're too young for stress!" I mean, HOW DARE SHE!?? No one is too young for stress -- even a young child could traumatically lose its parents. She doesn't know his circumstances... how can she make such a statement?? Sometimes it just gets me upset when people act like this... presuming to know and understand others when they've never been in their shoes.
