First everyhting is relatively fine from my stand point it was just a basic appointment. But as soon as she walked in she said were is your medic alert braclet. I never wear one although I know I should. It is just I don't even like to wear a watch it annoys me, not to mention wearing a necklace, and she said the card in my wallet wont do. Second she said she wants me to carry around an emergency solu-cortef solution. I have never in the 30 years since I was diagnosed with hypopituitarism ever carried around this. I don't even know how to give myself a shot. My dad has always given me my shots when I was a kid. He gave me testosterone, petrsisin, hcg, and growth hormone when I was a kid. Anyway I am suppossed to go to this "class" to teach me how to give the shot. And third and this is the kicker she is leaving her practice at Northwestern and going to the suburbs, and she says I am going to be turned over to a new doctor. She doesn't tell me his name but goes out to get him and when she comes back in with him it is my old doctor that I moved away from, because I didn't like him. He is going to be overseeing a new doctor that will be taking care of me now. All and all it was an interesting appointment. Sorry for going on and on.
