----------------------------------------------------------- From: Jubilone11 Message 7 in Discussion Here is some more info I provide a lady asking some questions about C-PCP for her daughter menstrual: Make sure your endocrinologist has her on the following: Cortef (or hydrocortisone) - it will take awhile to get the dosage correct (she may feel dizzy or ankles may swell if not correct). This medicine will make you bloated (there is no control over this - just try to get the dosage correct). If she feels dizzy or disorient take her to the doctor. Levoxyl (thyroid) - Make sure she is taking just the right amount (this has to be accurate) My endo does test every 3 months on my thyroid levels. If your daughter wants breast right away - get her on estrogen and medroxyprogestrone (this is rougher on your body -mean 2 or 3 periods in a month but they will grow faster - depending on her frame (petite) they may not grow past 34B (but then again she may be lucky). Did you check her Growth Hormone levels (this is a procedure that has to be done in a hospital, because it is dangerous - they have to lower her blood sugar and montior the whole time until the Growth Hormone can be measured). If her Growth Hormone is low -and her xray shows she has room for growth (for example - my endo said I was 27 years old but my bones were 13 years old and I had a lot of room to grow - I made stupid decision to get breast instead of grow taller). Make sure you ask your daughter if she likes her height - if not I STRONGLY recommend for her to take Humatrope (Growth Hormone for some years before taking Estrogen). Reason, because once she starts taking Estrogen and Medroxyprogestrone or Premarin or Yasmin or any brand) it stops the growth of her body (she won't get taller). Make sure she know this, because if you decides to grow breast - she won't get any taller. Well I was 5'0" when I started estrogen and now I am 5'1" (one inch taller). This is all that I take...I just started Growth Hormone at 35. I started Permarin/Estrogen/Medroxyprogestrone at 27. Hope this helps.
