After a shower I coat myself with peroxide, then witch hazel, then aloe-vera
gel, then jojoba oil. If I did not do that, I would feel crackly. In
Florida's constantly high humdity, I need the peroxide and witch-hazel to kill
off clean the skin before oiling it. I also only use gylcerine bath soap.
Commercial soaps make me itch severely. Itching is a symptonm of thyroid and
or adrenal insufficiency. I take synthroid and the adrenals are normal but it
still have the itching. Hormone replacement does not seem to help some
symptoms of hormone difficiency, from my experience.. I have had a
non-secreting tumor, at least I have known about, since 2000.
