Nested menus don't fade when closed

Fix For: 1.3.1
1) Run the kitchen sink demo
2) Expand the menus section
3) Open a "File" menu (either from the menu bar or the menu button)
4) Choose "Save As->[anything]"
Result:
The popups close right away, whereas usually the popup fades. I'd expect that
both popups should fade in unison.
