Thien, I started working on updating the site. SVN has been updated (see
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/pivot/site/trunk/) to include this
work, and I posted the result at http://people.apache.org/~tvolkert/tmp/site/.
It's still very prelimirary, but it gives us a chance to see the kind of design
we'll need in the interior of the pages.
For example, can you advise on what the html/css should be in the main content
of the following pages?

Also, I have a hard time seeing the footer links. Can we increase their
contrast some against the dark blue background?
Now that we have some stuff in SVN, can you submit patches through this ticket
to make it easier for me to see what changes you've made?
