USER FEEDBACK NO RESPONSE EXPECTED
I selected clamav-0.104.1.linux.x86_64.deb in the file browser, and
selected "open with Software Installer," which started the GNOME-software
GUI, and it appropriately displayed a REMOVE button to remove the currently
installed clamav. On repeating "open in Software Installer," version
0.1.04.1 installed properly. Amazing!
Please advise users that if a "No user clamav" errors display when running
clamscan or freshclam, the clamav-base package should be installed ("This
package mainly manages the clamav system account.")
